She was born March 5, 1924, in Norwood, MO to Dow Holt and Nancy C (Woods) Holt. She was united in marriage to Wilbur Brown on March 19, 1941.
She is survived by two daughters, Nancy Barnum, Springfield and Joan Meyer, Salem Oregon; four grandchildren, Wesley Barnum, Tammy Farling, Cheri Parker , and Charles Donovan; and a host of family and friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Dow and Nancy Holt; husband Wilbur Brown; son-in-law, David Barnum; grandson, Tony Donovan; two brothers, Leonard Holt and Egbert Holt; three sisters, Ethel Chalos, Minnie Burke, and Stella Gallager.
