ALLIANCE -- George Neidig, age 77, passed away Thursday, Oct. 1, 2015, following a long illness.
He was born April 9, 1938, in Robertsville, Ohio, to George Neidig and Margarette (Durbin) Neidig.
George was a retired truck driver and attended Sebring Friends Church. He served in the United States Marine Corps.
He was survived by his daughters, Misty Neidig of Alliance and Susan Neidig of Baton Rouge, Louisiana; sons, Charles and Richard "Jake" Neidig of Alliance, and Daniel Neidig of Sebring; sisters, Barbara (Charles) Moore of Newark and Lori (Bill) Aulman of Alliance; five grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.
Preceding him in death were his parents; wife, Patsy Lou (Dunfee) Neidig; daughter, Diane Neidig; and sister, Edie Ross.
Per the family's request, there were no services.
