Paul Boyer was the 6th son born to Charles Lyle Boyer and Gertrude VanCamp Boyer. He was born in Toledo Ohio on November 26, 1936. He grew up on Jervis Street in Toledo attended Immaculate Conception School and after graduation went on to Macomber Vocational High School, where he completed the Tool and Die Course. Paul loved animals, bringing many stray dogs home. He loved the water and owned many sailboats during his lifetime. He married Jean "Jamie" Jamison in November 1970. They retired to Florida with a home right on the water so he could take his boat out to fish whenever he wanted.
