Suzi (Eckstein) Richmond, 60, Two Rivers, passed away Friday March 10, 2017 at home. She was born July 13, 1956 in Green Bay. Her mother is Shirley Eckstein (Richmond) and late father, Gilbert Eckstein.
Suzi was a women of many talents and lived everyday to the fullest. She was a horse owner/rider who had a true love for horses. In her early years she worked as a veterinarian assistant, owned a grooming business, and managed/owned a charter fishing business, while showing her Championship Collies. She later went on to manage/own a trucking and car restoration business. While doing that, she developed new hobbies and talents that were undeniably admired through her landscape and engraving artistry. Aside from all of that, in the evenings she was captivated by the world of astronomy, where she and her telescope studied the sky.
Suzi is survived by her daughter Stacey (Bjorn) (Bajdan) Henrikson, Reedsville; five grandchildren Brooke, Justin, Olivia, Landon and Luke, her mother Shirley Eckstein, Two Rivers; one sister Tina Smurawa, Two Rivers; nephew Chad (Kristin) Van Eyck, Frances Creek; niece Kristi Van Eyck, Two Rivers; great nieces and nephews Elyse, Brielle, Wyatt, Faith, Jada and Charlie, two uncles Wayne (Buddy) and Neil Richmond.
She was preceded in death by two daughters Stasha and Tanya, her dad Gilbert, maternal grandparents Nathan and Mayme Richmond.
Friends may gather at the SCHINDERLE FUNERAL HOME, Algoma, Friday, March 17, 2017from 4 PM until the time of services at 6 PM with Rev. Peter Stryker officiating. Burial in the Evergreen Cemetery, Algoma.
Suzi was loved by everyone who knew her and will be sadly missed.
