Selma Lea Davis, 89, passed away Tuesday, March 14, 2017 in Marlow. Selma was born Thursday, December 1, 1927 in Scranton, AR to Roy Lee and Minnie (Wages) Needham.

She married her loving husband, Aran Virgil Davis, on November 10, 1945 in Clarksville, AR. Selma was a homemaker and devoted herself to her home, husband and five children. She had lived in the Marlow and Bray area for over 70 years. Selma's hobbies included playing cards and dominoes with friends and family and she loved canning and cooking. Selma also enjoyed her angel figurines. She was a member of the Cumberland Presbyterian Church in Marlow.

Survivors include, daughters, Wanda Cook of Marlow and Janet Miller of Marlow; sons, Virgil Davis and wife Marvis of Duncan; Billy Joe Davis and wife Phyllis of Enid; son, Ricky Allen Davis and wife Julia of Houston, TX. Twenty-two grandchildren and six great grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by her husband and son in laws, Bobby Cook and George Miller.

Funeral Services will be held at 2:00 PM, Friday, March 17, 2017, at the Callaway-Smith-Cobb Funeral Home Chapel, with Rev. Larry Hatfield officiating. Burial will be in the Marlow Cemetery.
