Eliza was the daughter of John POWELL (1792-1841) and his wife Ellen BRISCOE (1793-1861).

She married Robert Arthur REYNOLDS (1834-1873)on April 28, 1859 in Holy Cross, Shrewsbury, Shropshire, England. They had 7 children: Robert W. (1860-1864); Ernest Arthur (1862-1951) immigrated to Canada then America; Sidney H. (1863-1866); Agnes (1865-1939); Robert Percy ("Bob") (1867-1957) immigrated to America; Walter H. (1869-1869); and Maud (1870-1935).

After Eliza's husband Robert died she married Frederick "Richard" COOPER (1825-1904).

She does not have a headstone.
