Bank, Carolina (March 1802-Dec. 13, 1877 –mother of Theresa and Justina Bank –born Amt Neustadt, Baden –arrived in New York on the ship Zurich from Havre, France on July 23, 1855, likely as a widow traveling with her two daughters –on Aug. 10, 1855, in partnership of Nicholas Furderer, purchased the western 30 acres of the S1/2 of the SW1/4 of Section 18, Town of Liberty –a farmstead was then created at 6113 County A –on Nov. 7, 1861, again in partnership with Nicholas Furderer, sold the southern 15 acres of these 30 to Cornelius and Justina Gutman –on May 21, 1873 Carolina transfers her half share in these 15 acres with farmstead to Nicholas Furderer and his wife Maria Proell –died Town of Liberty –died from “inflammation of the lungs”)buried at St. Gregory Catholic Cemetery in St. Nazianz, Town of Eaton [buried in Section 1, Row 3, Lot 27 –no stone –in 2019 the St. Nazianz Area Historical Society placed a marker on this grave] [death record Manitowoc 1-254]
