FLOYD H. JOHNSON
(1934 - 2017)
Floyd H. Johnson, age 82, of Manitowoc, went home to be with his Lord and Savior on Tuesday afternoon, March 14, 2017, surrounded by his family, at Holy Family Memorial Medical Center, Manitowoc.
Floyd was born on April 24, 1934, in Two Rivers, a son of the late Charles and Helen (Hartel) Johnson. He attended Two Rivers Public Schools. On July 26, 1980, he married Mary T. Kochan, at Faith Free Church in Manitowoc. Floyd was employed for 25 years at Two Rivers Tool a& Specialty and also worked at E.V.M. in Two Rivers prior to his retirement in 1999.
Survivors include his wife: Mary Johnson of Manitowoc; one son: David Johnson of Manitowoc; four daughters: Evelyn (Gary) Lindemann of Bismarck, N.D., Susan (Gary Bialek) Ward, Katherine Woodham and Christine (Terry Wallander) Lietz, all of Manitowoc; ten grandchildren; sixteen great grandchildren; two stepsons: Gregory Oplatek and Steven (Kathy) Oplatek; one brother and two sisters; along with nieces, nephews other relatives and friends. In addition to his parents, he was also preceded in death by a son: Dennis Johnson; three brothers and three sisters.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, March 18, 2017, at Deja & Martin Funeral Chapels, 1506 18th St., Two Rivers. Officiating at the service will be Conrad Bundy, Elder at Calvary Chapel of Manitowoc, with burial in Forest View Cemetery, Two Rivers.
The family will greet relatives and friends at the funeral home on Friday evening, March 17, 2017, from 4 until 7:00 p.m. and on Saturday morning from 10:00 a.m. until the time of service at 11:00 a.m.
