BAZER - Mrs. Evelyn Bazer, 47, of 3920 20th Street, died today in Behlen Community Hospital after a year's illness. She was owner and operator of Evelyn's Coffee Shop.
Funeral services are set for 10 a.m. Saturday at St. Isidore Catholic Church with the Rev. Francis Price officiating, and burial will be in St. Bonaventure Cemetery. Rosary service will be 7:30 p.m. Friday at McKown Funeral Home, where the body will lie in state after 1 p.m. Friday.
Daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Charles G. Kuta, she was born July 9, 1926 in Columbus and spent her lifetime here. She attended Columbus schools and was a member of Eagles Auxiliary.
Surviving are six children, Richard and Robert Bazer of Omaha, Mrs. Gary (Mary) Lewis of Lincoln; Mrs. Paul (Catherine) Liekhus, James and Larry Bazer of Columbus; and 14 grandchildren.
Also surviving are her parents of Columbus; two brothers and four sisters, Mrs. Bernard (Irene) Staub and Charles P. Kuta, both of Farmington, Mich., Mrs. Jerome (Virginia) Kudron, Louis Kuta, Mrs. Edward (Betty) Zywiec and Mrs. Daniel (Alice) Tschantre, all of Columbus.
