Eva lived most of her life in Rural Soper, Okla., after the death of her only son Dorsey, she raised her 2 grandchildren, Clem & Wanda Shawhart, she later bought a home in Hugo, lived there until becoming ill, she then went to live in El Centro, Calif., with Wanda (Shawhart) Winters, where she died (Sep 13, 1970) body brought back to be buried in W. Post Oak cem. Lamar Co., TX.

Brannon, Assembly of God minister, will officiate, burial to be made in West Post Oak Cemetery in Lamar County, Texas
Daughter of Mr. and Ms. J. W. Burnett, Mrs. LaCroix was born in Texas, April 21, 1883, and lived in Hugo 45 years before moving to California, four years ago.
No children survive but there are 14 other descendants in three generations. Harrison Burnett of Hugo is a relative.
