He served in the US Army. Alton retired from Invesys Controls North Manchester, IN in 1993 after 35 years of service. He was an avid gardener and enjoyed farming. He was a great husband, father and grandpa. He loved his family dearly and would help them in any way he could. His family is comforted knowing he is with his Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. He attended Manchester Bible Church, North Manchester, IN.
He is survived by his wife, Katie Wireman, North Manchester, IN; sons, Gregory (Sandy) Wireman, Warsaw, IN and Brian A. (Ann) Wireman, Anchorage, AK; daughters, Juanita McCune, North Manchester, IN, Wanda L. (Bob) King, Wabash, IN, Lynda K. Wireman, Michigan and Christine (Stuart) Hamblen, Angola, IN; eleven grandchildren and three great grandchildren. Four brothers and two sisters are deceased.
