The son of Anton Crease and Elsie Harrison Adams. He is survived by his sister, Catharine A. Pinder; Anton C. Adams III "Little Tony"; his grandson, Taylor Peyton Randolph Adams; and Cindy Cook Adams. Educated at St. Christopher's, South Kent and the University of Virginia, Tony served his country in the Army Air Corps as a fighter pilot in Europe during WWII. He was a former member of the Country Club of Virginia, the Commonwealth Club, the Richmond German, the Deep Run Hunt Club, and most fondly, "The Jiggers." Tony loved a rare steak, all animals, any body of water, his family and his great friends in Vista Gardens of Vero Beach, Fla., where he resided for 16 years.
