Mrs. Frances Raynor, 80, former Manitowoc resident, died of a lingering illness Wednesday afternoon at Elms Nursing Home, Sheboygan, where she had been living the past year.
Funeral services, arrangements for which have been made by the Jens Funeral Home, Manitowoc, will be Saturday at Rochester, N.Y. Burial will be at Webster, N.Y.
Mrs. Raynor was born at Erie, Penn., July 14, 1879, daughter of the late Theodore and Emma Truesdale Grainger. She was married to Merney Raynor, a New York carpenter contractor, at Wolcott, N.Y., Dec. 24, 1899. He died 15 years ago and in 1943 she came to Wisconsin to live with her son-in-law and daughter, Mr. and Mrs. Robert T. Rowley, 1609 Torrison Dr., Manitowoc.
Survivors include three daughters, Mrs. Rowley of Manitowoc, Mrs. Robert Logan of El Cajon, Calif., and Mrs. James Knapp of Rochester, N.Y.; a sister, Mrs. J.A. Petherick of East Rochester, N.Y.; 10 grandchildren and 22 great grandchildren.
The body will lie in state at J.M. Hedges Funeral Home, Rochester, Friday until the time of service.
