Helen Lucille Campbell, age 88, of Ozark, passed away Monday, July 26, 2004, in St. John's Hospital. She was born March 11, 1916, in Ozark, the daughter of Zebedee and Jessie (Smith) Baird. On April 15, 1934, she and Blond Campbell were united in marriage. Mrs. Campbell was a homemaker, and attended Grace Full Gospel Church in Rogersville. Survivors include her husband of 70 years, Blond; a son, Terry Campbell and wife Susan, Ozark; three grandchildren, T.J. Campbell, Ozark, Aaron Campbell and his wife, Jill, Sparta, and Sarah Barton and her husband Ryan, Rogersville; two great grandchildren, Amber Barton and Carrie Armstrong; a step-grandson, Page Charles, Ozark; and a sister, Genobia Gray, Willard. She was preceded in death by her parents; three brothers, Robert, Oran and Joe Baird; and two sisters, Mae Kessinger and Bedith Broce. A funeral service will be at 10 a.m. Friday, July 30, in Adams Funeral Home, Ozark, with Pastor Darrel Reid and Pastor Hubert Swearengin officiating. Burial will follow in Pembina Cemetery.
