Our lovely mother, Ada Mae Watkins of Roanoke, went to her heavenly home to be with her Lord on March 22, 2017. She was 91 years old. She was preceded in death by her loving husband, James R. Watkins; and her sons, Claude Woodrow Parker, Jr., and Leroy Townsend Parker.
She is survived by her daughters, Susan Neeves (Danny), Jody Barnes (Dallas); grandchildren, Leroy, Melanie, Sara, Adam, Timothy, Nathan, and Justin; several great-grandchildren and 3 great, great grandchildren. She is loved by many and will be greatly missed.
A graveside service will be held at 12:30 pm on Saturday March 25, 2017 at Sherwood Memorial Park, Salem, Virginia, with Rev. Tim Wright officiating. Visitation will be from 11 to 12 pm on Saturday, March 25, 2017 at Oakey’s North Chapel.
