Richard (Rick) William Frazer, Sr., born August 17, 1954 in Johnstown, Pennsylvania, and went to be with the Lord March 23, 2017 in Clinton Township, Michigan.

Rick is survived by his beloved wife of 31 years, Sherry (Felix) Frazer; his son, Richard Frazer, Jr.; his son, Mike Frazer, and his wife, Christina (Reinhardt) Frazer; his daughter, Nichole (Frazer) Eller, and her husband, Josh Eller; his grandchildren Cole Frazer, Chase Frazer, Kaylee Frazer, Mikey Frazer, Zachy Frazer, and Brielle Eller; his mother, Betty (Towns) Frazer; his brother, Johnnie Frazer; his sister, Cheri (Frazer) Gresso, and her husband, Jeff Gresso, and their children, Collin and Amanda; and many other family members and dear friends. He was preceded in death by his father, William (Bill) Frazer.

Rick graduated high school in Windber, Pennsylvania in 1972. After graduation, he attended the University of Pittsburgh of Johnstown and worked in maintenance. He was co-owner of an auto body shop, sawmill, and auction house. He lived in Central City, Pennsylvania, from 1974-1985, where both of his sons were born.

He met his wife, Sherry, in 1983 and they married January 25, 1986. They moved as a family to Keller, Texas, in 1987, where he worked for Chief Automotive Systems. During that time, he had the opportunity to travel the world. In July of 1989, he welcomed his newborn baby girl. After his time with Chief Automotive Systems he went to work with Nationwide Insurance Company, which moved his family to Sterling Heights, Michigan in 1997.

Throughout the years, Rick was wholeheartedly devoted to serving his church through music and youth ministries. Rick’s passion for music was shown through composing, performing, and enjoying the music of others. His love for sports found him on Sunday afternoons switching back and forth between Pittsburgh Steelers games and NASCAR races. He enjoyed many adventures with his children and grandchildren. Rick was a gentle giant who loved his family and friends, loved life and, above all else, loved God.
