June 4, 1935 - February 22, 2009

Age 73, of Greenville, formerly of Milwaukee, died Sunday February 22, 2009 at Appleton Medical Center. He was born on June 4, 1935 in Stratford, son of the late John & Adelaide (Huven) Krostag. On September 20, 1958 he was united in marriage to Patricia Johnson in West Allis. He worked as a machinist at Ampco Metal in Milwaukee for 30 years, retiring in 1997. He proudly served his country in the United States Marine Corp. and spent 18 months in Korea.

He is survived by his wife of 50 years, Patricia. One son, Richard Krostag & special friend Olga, Campbellsport. Grandchildren, Jason (Kelly) Krostag, and Trisha (Marcin) Olczak, all of Greenville. Great grandchildren, Brian, Cloe, and Hailey. A brother, Joe (Sue) Krostag, Wild Rose. Two sisters, Theresa (Jim) Becker, Janesville, Mary (Norm) Simm, Marshfield. Sisters-in-law, Carol (Hank) Stoss, Granton, Erna Krostag, Marshfield. A brother-in-law, Richard Altman, Tripoli. Also numerous nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents, three sisters, and two brothers.

The Funeral Service for Norbert will be held at 2:00 p.m. Tuesday February 24, 2009 at the Borchardt & Moder Funeral Home in Hortonville with the Rev. Greg Watling officiating. Friends may call at the funeral home on Tuesday from 12:00 p.m. (Noon) until the time of service. Military rites will be held.
