Francis E. Johnson, age 86, a Two Rivers resident, died early Thursday morning, March 23, 2017 at Aurora Medical Center, Two Rivers.Francis was born on April 4, 1930 in Brookville, PA, son of the late F. Sherman and Dorothy (Caylor) Johnson. He served with the United States Navy from 1950 - 1954. On March 14, 1956 he married the former Catherine Schultz in Hilbert, WI. Francis was a hard working man his entire life and most recently retired from the City of Two Rivers Recreation Department.Survivors include his wife: Catherine Johnson, Two Rivers; his children: Linda (John) Satterburg, Tom (Ellen) Johnson, Bob (Martha) Johnson, all of Two Rivers, Barbara (Tom) Kysar, Wasilla, AK; eight grandchildren: Christopher (Carie) Satterburg, Jeffrey (Erin) Satterburg, Jeremy (Amber) Satterburg, Kurt (Jenny) Johnson, Jena Johnson, Samantha Johnson, Quincey (Thomas) Causa, and Joe Kysar; nine great grandchildren; one sister: Sandra (Daniel) Klein; one brother: Jacob Geimer, all of Two Rivers; four in-laws: Marilyn Peltier, McFarland, Paul (Joan) Schultz, Two Rivers, Marge DePoy, Monticello, IN, Marlene Schultz, Two Rivers; nieces, nephews, other relatives and life long hunting buddy Gene Fencel also survive. He was preceded in death by his parents; his step-father: Albert Geimer; three sisters and one brother: Shirley (Francis) Lesperance, Caroline (Bill) Reiland, Sylvia Geimer; Robert Johnson; father and mother-in-law: Harold and Tillie Schultz; and three in-laws: Don Schultz, Wesley Peltier and Richard Depoy.Funeral Services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Monday, March 27, 2017 at St. Peter the Fisherman Catholic Church, Two Rivers. Officiating at the Mass of Christian Burial will be the Rev. Maurice Mmegbuadimma with burial to follow at Holy Cross Cemetery, Two Rivers.
