Katie Dell (Craft) Gaither, 87, of Talladega, Alabama, died on November 21, 2011 at her residence. She was born on February 23, 1924 to Robert and Cordelia Craft. She was a member of Pleasant Grove baptist Church for more than sixty years, where she served as church clerk and treasurer. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband of seventy years, Louis Gaither; daughter, Maxine G. Shaw; granddaughter, Angie Melman; grandson, Gary Burns; brother, Wilburn Craft; and sister, Artie Carroll. She is survived by two sons, six grandchildren, and two sisters. Funeral: 2:00 p.m. November 24, 2011 at Pleasant Grove Baptist Church. Arrangements: Talladega Funeral Home.
