Mr. Johnson was born in Carter County, KY., and had lived in Mansfield for 24 years. He was an employee of the Empire - Detroit Steel plant.
Surviving are his wife, Mrs. Dixie Brown Johnson; three sons, Philip of Charlotte, N.C., and Billy and Robert; one daughter, Venus Wolfe of Mansfield; 13 grandchildren; his father Harlan Johnson of Niles; one brother, Ray of Leavittsburg and two sisters, Mrs. Agnes Cline of Niles and Mrs. Alice McGlone of Windham, Ohio.
Funeral services will be conducted in the Leslie Henderson Funeral Home, Olive Hill, Ky., Wednesday at 2 p.m. with burial in Brown Cemetery. Friends may call in the J.H. Finefrock and Sons Funeral Home from 4 to 9 p.m. today.
