GOMES BEATRICE TERESA of Union City, passed away on April 28, 2001 at Parkview Convalescent Hospital in Hayward. Beloved wife of 64 years to the late John Gomes. Dear sister of Dorothy Chapman of San Leandro, Rose Hening of Auburn, and Albert Olivera of Albany. Also survived by many nieces and nephews. Mrs. Gomes was a longtime resident of Eden Mobile Home Park of Hayward. She retired from Montgomery Wards after 30 years as an office worker. A native of Waterford, Connecticut; age 92. A Funeral Mass & Liturgy was held on May 2, 2001 at St. Bedes Catholic Church, Hayward. Burial was at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery, Hayward. MACHADO'S HILLSIDE CHAPEL (51) 537-6600.
