Lynch died Aug. 7 in Gallup. She was born June 16, 1944, in Pinedale into the Gray Streak Ends People Clan for the Two Who Came to the Water People Clan.
Lynch attended Chemawa Indian School. She was a silversmith and worked for Elite Laundry, Golden Desert Motel and Best Western Hotel. Her hobbies included traveling, crossword puzzles, visiting family and friends, and telling stories.
Survivors include her sons, Wilbert Lynch, Michael Lynch both of Pinedale; daughters, Winifred Lynch of Continental Divide, Ruby Lynch of Pinedale; brothers, Billie Tom, Charlie Billy both of Pinedale; sister, Sarah Beyal of Pinedale; and 12 grandchildren.
Lynch was preceded in death by her parents, Tom and Hasbah Billy; husband, Wilfred Lynch; and brother, John Billy.
Pallbearers will be Wilbert Lynch, Michael Lynch, Herbert Murillo, TJ Lewis and Jones Begaye.
The family will receive relatives and friends at the Pinedale Chapter House.
