David W. Standley was born on March 15, 1961, to the parentage of George Standley, Sr. and Erma Lee Hall-Standley in Stephen Creek, Texas. At an early age David devoted his life to the Lord and was baptized. David received his High School diploma from Jones High School in Coldspring, TX. He received a bachelors in Computer Science from Prairie View A&M University, received his Master's in Information Systems Management (MISM) from University of Phoenix. He was married to Annie Standley of Baltimore, MD and to this union there were three children. David was preceded in death by parents George Standley, SR. and Erma Lee Hall-Standley, and brother Charles E. Standley, Sr.
David was extremely loving and proud of his three children Anthony, Quinnton, and Danielle Standley;and one granddaughter, Maliah King; He is also survived by his fourteen siblings: Sadie (*Bob) Pouncy, Mary (Willie) Gibson, Vira (Neil) Brown, Hazel (Garlon) Arnic, George (*Cammie) Standley, Jr., Mildridge Dyer, Ezell (Barbara) Standley, Erzell Standley, Ernest Standley, Cynthia (Isaiah) McKibbin, Dortha (James) Hollins, Clint (Kim) Standley, Troy Standley, Lorenzo Standley,Sr.; two uncles: Ephram Reece and Eric Hall and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
