A veteran of the War of 1812 and later, an Episcopal minister who help found St. Michael's Episcopal Church in Anaheim. Kellogg who died at 83 in 1878, is believed to be oldest veteran buried in Anaheim Cemetery. He's among only eight veterans of the War of 1812 buried in California, according to Anne Scholz, president of the National United States Daughters of 1812, based in Pacific Palisades, California.
