Catherine E. Anderson, 80, of Edison died Friday, Feb. 2, 2007, at home.
Born in Newark, she resided in Newark, Irvington, and Madison, before moving to Edison in 1961.
Her husband Alistair G. Anderson died in 1990. She was also predeceased by her parents, Harry and Emily Anderson, of Madison; a brother, Harry Anderson, and a sister, Carol Frederick.
Surviving are two sons, Walter M. Loftus of Pittstown and Glenn A. Anderson of Edison; four daughters, Kathleen M. Olivetti of Mechanicsburg, Pa., Carol I. Confer of Duxbury, Mass., Bonnie J. Anderson of Edison, and Laura K. Petersen of Edison; four brothers, Jack, Edward, Robert, and Alan Anderson; four sisters, Agnes Olesky, Irene McDonald, Patricia Barradale, and Ruth Luizza; 17 grandchildren, Michael, Jill, Christopher, Jennifer, Dreon, Jude, David, Mark, Brian, Kelly, Christopher, Timothy, Shannon, Ryan, Kristen, Kathryn, and Jessica, and four great-grandchildren, Kyle, Angelina, Maika, and Ava.
Services will be held at St. Paul's Evangelical Lutheran Church, 445 Old Post Road, Edison.
