Mrs. Gallan was born in Connellsville, Pa., on June 21, 1928, the daughter of the late Thomas William and Lillian Mary (O'Brien) Kelly.
She worked as a housewife, and was a member of All Saints Roman Catholic Church, Masontown, Pa.
Mrs. Gallan is survived by her sons, Michael and wife, Kris Kelly of Masontown and Daniel Gallan of Masontown; daughters, Sharon and husband, Warren, Jr., Morris of Masontown, Paulette and husband, John Seaman of Ronco, Mary Gallan of Carmichaels, Tracey and husband, Ronald Bruce of Masontown, Michelle and husband, Ronald Revak of Ronco, Linda Friend J.D. Firestone Stout of Uledi; 16 grandchildren; sister, Mary Guthrie of Fairchance; several nieces and nephews.
Leona was predeceased by her parents, husband Daniel Gallan, sisters, Mary Elizabeth, Betty Jane Hilburn, brothers, Thomas and James Kelly; daughter, Kellie Sue Gallan.
A Prayer Service will be held in the Funeral Home Chapel at 9:30 a.m. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at All Saints Roman Catholic Church, Masontown, Pa., at 10 a.m. on Monday, April 17, with Father John M. Butler officiating. Visitation will be held on Saturday from 7 to 9 p.m. and Sunday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m., in the JOHN S. MAYKUTH, JR., Funeral Home. A Parish Wake will be held at 3 p.m. Sunday and a Rosary Service will be held at 7 p.m. Sunday both at the John S. Maykuth Jr., Funeral Home. Interment will be held in Saint Agnes Cemetery, Masontown, Pa.
