Daughter of Dennis and Celia B (Stillwell) Bruce of Warrick Co, IN. Married to my first cousin, George M Batch, in the 1930's and had at least two daughters with him. They lived in the Huntingburg area. In fact, Daisy had lived here most of her life, appearing on the Patoka Township census in 1920 at age 11. When her husband died of heart failure in 1977, they lived at 928 Williams in Huntingburg. George was a retired coal miner and she kept house. Daisy died a widow at St. Joseph's Hospital of respiratory failure due to pneumonia and was laid to rest at Mayo New Year's Day 1981.
