Obituary: Memphis - Harriett Jackson, 76, died Saturday, May 14, 2005 at Methodist Hospital Germantown. She was a retired librarian for the City of Memphis. She was a member and elder of Whitehaven Presbyterian Church. She was a member of the Kennedy Book Club and the Pension Board of the Retired Librarians Association. She was an avid traveler, genealogist and family historian.
Services will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday at Whitehaven Presbyterian Church. Burial will be in Wier's Chapel Cemetery near Ripley, MS. Forest Hill Funeral Home Midtown is in charge of the arrangements.
Survivors include two sisters: Mary Alice Holloman of Columbus and Anne Jackson Stephens of New Albany.
