He is survived by his wife of 55 years Carole (nee Collins), his daughters Denise (Mark) Durbin, Danette (Jeff) Williams and Lynn (Joseph) Martinez. His grandchildren, Joshua, Kyle & Cristen Durbin, Brittany (Justin) Pozil, Jessica (Joseph) Thomas, Dani Williams, Jaclynne and Kassidy Martinez. His great-grandchildren Gabriel, Chase & Karlie Durbin, Daniel and Peyton Pozil, Jeff Williams and Tyler Thomas. His siblings, Robert (Frieda) Bernard, Lela Jett, David (Martha) Bernard, Paul (Arlene) Bernard and Elizabeth Flanagan and many beloved nieces, nephews and friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Jesse and Crella, his siblings, Jesse, Joseph, Junior, Jewel, Charlie, Jimmy, Myrtie, Juanita and Henrietta.

Visitation, Monday, April 10, 2017, 3:00PM to 9:00PM at Damar-Kaminski Funeral Home & Crematorium, 7861 S. 88th Avenue, Justice, Illinois.

Funeral, Tuesday, April 11, 2017,10:00AM Prayers to be held at the funeral home. Burial will be private.
