Janet was born on August 29, 1929 in Manitowoc to the late Joseph and Marcella Walters Tadych. She graduated from Lincoln High School with the class of 1948.
On December 30, 1950, Janet married Wallace J. Haske of Rogers City, MI at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Manitowoc. She was a member of St. Francis of Assisi Catholic Church.
Survivors include Janet's husband of 66 years, Wallace; five children, Jeanne Haske of Manitowoc, Paula Haske of Denmark, James (Sharon) Haske of Rogers City, MI; John (Virginia) Haske of Algoma, and Gerald (Linda) Haske of Coleman; 10 grandchildren; 25 great grandchildren; one great great grandson; three brothers, James (Judy) Tadych, Joseph Tadych, and Thomas Tadych, all of Manitowoc; seven sisters, Shirley Reinke, Marion (Robert) Lindholm, Margaret (Malcolm) Shaw, Lorraine (Roger) Oswald, Nancy (Gary) Orth, all of Manitowoc, Germaine Hinze Miles of Appleton, and Ann Murray of Sheboygan; also other relatives and friends.
Janet was preceded in death by her parents; son, Michael; brother, and John "Jack" Tadych.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. on Tuesday, April 11, 2017 at St. Francis of Assisi on Waldo - 1121 North 14th Street, Manitowoc. The Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated by Rev. Dave Pleier with entombment to take place at Knollwood Mausoleum.
