Born in Huguenot, N.Y., Alfreda was a longtime resident of Lafayette. She was a cook for the former Christ House in Lafayette before her retirement at the age of 70. She was a longtime member of the Lafayette Fire Department Ladies Auxiliary.
The daughter of the late William and Katherine (Caskey) Little, Alfreda was also predeceased by her husband, Everett Henderson, on June 22, 2012; her brothers, Ken and Richard Little; and her sisters, Mildred Henderson, Alice Hill and Roberta Poliack. She is survived by her son, Everett Henderson and wife, Evelyn, of Lafayette; her stepdaughter, Tara Pierce; her step-granddaughter, Bria DeGroat; her brother, Robert Little, of Newton; and many nieces and nephews.
Graveside services will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday, April 8, at North Hardyston Cemetery.
