Per his obituary, Arthur grew up in Walnut Grove. In 1952 he became president of the Alexander Brown Bank after the passing of his brother John Stanford Brown. Arthur was also manager of the Alexander Brown Company, a farming enterprise, and the Alexander Brown Electric Company. He was survived by his wife (of 50 years) Amy, son Myron, daughter Kathryn, as well as four grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren. Predeceased by his other siblings -- Frank, Alexander, and Helen.
