FORMER BUCYRUS RESIDENT DIES; SERVICES HERE
Cullen R. Cobb, 69, a resident of Bucyrus about 40 years ago died in Lima Memorial hospital at 1 o'clock Monday afternoon. He had been a patient in the hospital of about three months. Death was due to pernicioun anemia.
Mr. Cobb was a son of James L. and Mary Jane Cobb and was born near Bucyrus September 14, 1865. He became a machinist's apprentice in the old T.O.C. shops in 1880 and later was employed by The American Clay Machinery Co. Still later he was employed by the Big Four Railroad Co. at Wabash, Ind. About 35 years ago he moved to Lima and became associated with the Solar Refinery Co???ow. The Standard Oil Co., where he desighed and made tools until his retirement about 4 years ago. His wife Metta Steiner Cobb died in March 1932.
Survivors are a brother Lee of Bucyrus, rsiding on South Spring street and a brother James Milton Cobb of Cambridge, Mass. One brother, John, preceded him in death.
Funeral services will be held in the Wise Funeral home at 10 o'clock Thursday morning with Rev. A. H. Achtermann, pastor of St. John's Reformed church, officiating and burial will be in Oakwood by the side of his wife of 45 years.
