DORENA - The funeral will be at 10:30 a.m. on Tuesday at Smith-Lund-Mills Funeral Chapel, Cottage Grove, for Sharon Jean Long of Dorena, who died Jan. 26 of cancer. She was 70.
Long was born June 20, 1936, in Holley, Colo., to Leon and Ruby Miller Weddel. She married Clarence "Bud" Long Jr. in Cottage Grove on May 28, 1954.
She was a homemaker.
Survivors include her husband; four daughters: Shelia, Virginia, Pamela and Jennifer; two sons: Leon and Clarence III; five sisters: Alice Miller, Patricia Hefner, Joyce Starr, Nancy Giesel and Sandra Jensen; 10 grandchildren; and six great- grandchildren.
Burial will be at Fir Grove Cemetery. Memorial contributions to Row River Community Church or the American Cancer Society.
