84 of Lapeer passed away at his home on April 27, 2015.
He was born in Paris Tennessee May 16, 1930 to parents William T. Alexander and Pearlie Erin Wilson.
William was a carpenter and loved making things out of wood; building wishing wells was just one of the things he would make for family and friends. For years he went to the sportsman club and received many trophies for his Trap shooting skills, he also enjoyed going camping. He handed down his skills to his children and grandchildren with love and pride.
William is survived by his children, Debbra (Fred) Treutle, Eva (Greg) McQueen, Trishie (Brian) Whitcomb ; Grandchildren , William McQueen, Jacob McQueen, Anthony Whitcomb, Kari Knox, Kyle Whitcomb, Fred Treutle Jr. Kristina Whitcomb He also has 6 Great granddaughters.
William was preceded in death by his wife Kathleen Alexander
The family is planning a Celebration of his life On May 16, 2015 2:00 pm at Dawn Memorial in Elba
