Roselee May Mahaney 78, of Curtice, Ohio, passed away Saturday, April 8, 2017, surrounded by her loving family. Roselee was born in Toledo, Ohio on February 16, 1939 to Burton and Leona Hammell. On August 27, 1955, she married the love of her life, Jerry Mahaney. She was a member of the Northwood Mothers Club, Red Hat Society, and American Legion Auxiliary. Roselee enjoyed round & square dancing and was a member of Buckeye Squares, Rhythm Ramblers, and Foxy Fours Square Dance Clubs. Roselee worked as a waitress at The Wheel and Freeway Restaurants, clerk in the Sears hardware department, as a beautician at Mr. James Beauty Salon, cafeteria cashier at Owens Community College and was a self-employed dog groomer. Her hobbies included: camping, fishing, traveling, visiting casinos, and wintering in southern Texas.

Roselee is survived by her husband of 61 years, Jerry; children, James (Linda) Mahaney, Lonna (Mike) Meadows, and Mark Mahaney; grandchildren, Kristy (Matt) Brown, Kylie (Rob) Scislowski, Tony (Beth) Meadows, Phillip (Leslie) Mahaney and Nicholas Meadows; 14 great-grandchildren; along with many loving family members and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents and sister, Shirley Barker.

The family will receive friends at the Eggleston Meinert & Pavley Funeral Home, Millbury Chapel 1111 Woodville Road (east of I-280) on Wednesday, April 12, 2017 from 2:00 p.m. – 8:00 p.m. Funeral services will be conducted Thursday, April 13, 2017 at 11:00 a.m in the funeral home. Interment will follow at Williston Cemetery.
