Donnie Ray Adkins, 5, died on Oct. 1, 1946, of tuberculosis in his home in Grandview, Raleigh County, W.Va. Donnie was a son of Mr. and Mrs. Andy Adkins Sr.
In addition to his parents, Donnie was survived by a brother, Andy Jr.; sisters Emma Frances, Thelma and Wilma Mae Adkins; and half sisters Retta Jane Adkins and Pansey M. Adkins.
Funeral services were conducted at the Log Church in Pluto, W.Va., by the Rev. Willie Willis. Burial was in the Adkins Cemetery at Pluto.
