Deceased Name: Fred W. Abercrombie

Fred W. Abercrombie, 59, a magazine executive, died Saturday in Evanston Hospital.

A resident of Wilmette, Mr. Abercrombie worked the last eight years as Detroit area advertising manager for Family Circle magazine. He was a member of the Agate Club of Chicago and, as a Marine veteran of World War II, the American Legion.

Mr. Abercrombie was a 1952 graduate of Northwestern University, where he belonged to Sigma Nu and Alpha Delta Sigma fraternities.

Survivors include his wife, Glenda; two sons, Calvin and Fred; two daughters, Elaine and Pamela, and a brother, John G. Abercrombie.

Funeral services will be at 1 p.m. Wednesday at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, North Shore Ward, 2701 Lake, Wilmette. Visitation will be 5 to 9 p.m. tomorrow at Scott Funeral Home, 1100 Greenleaf, Wilmette. Burial will be private
