Mrs. M. Van Dommelen died Saturday at her home in the western part of he city after an illness of some duration.
Mrs. Van Dommelen was born it Nieuwe Tonge in the Netherlands in 1833. In 1858 she was united in marriage with Mr. Van Dommelen.
Mr. and Mrs. Van Dommelen came to this country in 1868 settling at Holland, Mich., where they remained until 1877 when they came to Sioux county and located on a farm about seven miles southwest, of the city.
In 1902 they moved to town where they have since resided.
The funeral was held at the First Reformed church yesterday afternoon.
