Funeral services for Mrs. Laura Naomi Melton, 82, who died June 16 at the home of Mr. and Mrs. A. D. Hazel at Ozark, were held Tuesday, June 18 at 2:00 p.m. in the Harris Funeral Chapel in Nixa with Rev. Floyd Hanks and Rev. Fred Plank officiating. Burial was in Selmore Cemetery under direction of Harris. She was the widow of the late Anson [sic - actual name was Ansel Marion Melton] who died in 1941. Survivors include one daughter, Mrs. Ellis Kissee of Ozark; one step-son, Ben Melton of Ozark; two step-daughters, Mrs., Myrtle Koch of Nixa and Mrs. Ida Hooton of Maderia, Calif.; four grandchildren and two great grandchildren; one sister, Mrs. Florence Parks of Ozark.
