Harold Mayes and Dr. Emory Elmore officiating. Burial was in Selmore Cemetery. Mr. Melton was a retired farmer, and a lifelong resident of Christian County. He was a member of the Selmore Christian Church. Mr. Melton is survived by several nieces and nephews.
