Grandma came from Poland to Sidney Mines, Nova Scotia, around 1912, where her husband had come earilier, and was working in the coal mines. She got ill from the cold, and died, leaving 4 children. She is buried in St. Mary's Trinity Anglican Cementary on Shore Rd. in Sidney Mines. I went in 1987 and found her grave. She was the grandmother of 8, and we sadly missed not having her in our life. He husband took the 4 children and moved to Michigan...USA after her death.
