Larry Hochmeister, 71, passed away Tuesday, April 11, 2017, at Memorial Hospital and Health Care Center in Jasper.
Larry was born in Huntingburg on February 28, 1946, to Lewis and Edna (Jones) Hochmeister.

Larry was a 1964 graduate of Huntingburg High School and was a 1977 graduate of Purdue University. He was a United States Army veteran, who served and was wounded during Vietnam.

He previously worked in purchasing at Masterbrand Cabinets for 19 years, and most recently has been a wood products sales representative for Mears Quality Products for over 15 years.

He was a member of St. Joseph’s Catholic Church and the V.F.W. Post #673. He enjoyed fishing, golfing, bicycling, and spending time with his family and friends.

Larry is survived by:

...... one sister
....... one brother

Preceding him in death are one sister, Jan Blackgrove, and two brothers, Fred and Noble Hochmeister.

Service for Larry Hochmeister was on Friday, April 14, 2017, at St. Joseph’s Catholic Church, with burial following in Mayo Cemetery in Duff, Indiana. The V.F.W. Post #673 conducted military graveside rites.

Visitation took place on Thursday, April 13, 2017, at the Becher-Kluesner Downtown Chapel in Jasper.

Memorial contributions: Dubois County Community Foundation/Elliott Family Endowment, St. Joseph’s Catholic Church or to a favorite charity.
