JAMES E. JANKOWSKI
(1947 - 2017)

James E. Jankowski, age 69, a resident of Belle Glade, Florida, entered eternal life on Friday, February 3, 2017 at his residence.

Jim was born on December 4, 1947 in Oshkosh. He was the son of Evelyn Sobieski Jankowski and the late Florian Jankowski. Jim was a graduate of Lincoln High School with the class of 1966. In 1967 he entered the United State Air Force and served his country until his honorable discharge in 1972. In 1973 Jim moved to Florida where he was employed as a produce distribution manager for the next 40 years with the Duda Corporation. Jim retired in 2014 due to poor health. He was an avid Green Bay Packer fan and enjoyed working on his computer.

He is survived by three children: Tracey (Steven) Wolverton, League City, Texas; James (Marketa) Janson, Centertown, Kentucky; Stacy (Jason) Shepherd, Beaver Dam, Kentucky; five grandchildren: Faith, Dylan, Aaron, Eli, and Isiah; his mother: Evelyn Jankowski, Milwaukee, formerly of Manitowoc; one sister: Ellen Jankowski, Milwaukee; nieces, nephews, along with other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his father, Florian Jankowski.

Memorial services will be held 10 a.m. Monday, April 17, 2017 at the Harrigan Parkside Funeral Home. Officiating will be Rev. Dave Pleier. Cremation has taken place and Jim's cremated remains will be laid to rest following the memorial services at Knollwood Cemetery. Relatives and friends may call at the Harrigan Parkside Funeral Home on Monday from 9 a.m. until the time of services at 10 a.m. Following the funeral service there will be a luncheon held for relatives and friends at the Harrigan Parkside Gathering Center located on the south property of the funeral home.
