Livingston, July 6. --
(Blank*) W. Day of Fridley, well known in Livingston, died at Yancey's in the National park Saturday evening of meningitis. The deceased was 32 years of age, a brother of C. M. Day of this city, and besides leaves his father G. W. (blank *) (of) Minneapolis and brothers and (siste*)rs as follows to mourn him: A. M. Day of Butte, H. E. Day of Minneapolis, and P. Day and Mrs. S. H. Cooney of Great Falls and Mrs. E. G. Johnson and Mrs. S. H. Sterns of Boulder. Funeral services were held the following Thursday afternoon in this city at the Methodist church, Rev. Mickel officiating. The funeral took place in Mountain View cemetery under the auspices of the Knights of Pythias and Home Forum fraternities.

•The Saturday death date would be June 30th. Fridley was the name previously given to the Emigrant, Montana Post Office. Yancey's Pleasant Valley Hotel was located in Yellowstone National Park near Tower Junction.
