Red, 88, of Riverside, died, at Miami Valley Hospital.

He was born to Theodore and Josephine (Bruggeman) Dorsten. He married Mary Ann Wilker 58 years ago and she survivies in Riverside.

Surviving are a son, Dale (Pam) Dorsten, Beavercreek; two daughters, Nancy (Ray) Howell, Riverside, and Phyllis (David) Howard, Huber Heights; two sisters, Rosella Gast and Alfreda Sanning, both of Coldwater; six grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.

Deceased is a son, Gary.

He was a veteran of the U.S. Army, serving during WWII, and retired from NCR, Dayton. He was a member of Veteran of Foreign Wars Post #657, American Legion Post #675, 37th Division Veterans Association and St. Helen Catholic Church, Dayton.

Services are 10 a.m. Thursday at the church.
