Roy Carman, 79, of Danville, died after a long illness.

Born in Casey County on Oct 14, 1905, he was the son of the late Roscoe and Lucy Price Carman. He was a retired farmer and a member of the Walltown Christian Church.

Survivors include three sons, L T Carman of Waynesburg, Randell Carman of Kings Mountain and Vester Carman of Richmond; two daughters, Lucy Ellen Falconberry of Cincinnati and Wanda Estes of Kings Mountain; three brothers, Dallas Carman of Waynesburg, Ulysses Carman of Hustonville and Ralph Carman of Lexington; three sisters, Lillie Mae Henry of Ludlow, Margaret Walls of Waynesburg and Nellie Walls of Morelantff three grandchildren; and three greatgrandchildren.

The funeral will be held at 11 am Monday at Barnett and Demrow Funeral Home in Waynesburg by the Rev Lloyd Keeney. Burial will be in the Falconberry Cemetery. Visitation is after 6 pm today at the funeral home.
