Since the late 1920s, he had been living with the family of his daughter, Pearl Meyer, in Narberth, PA. He passed away in Rural Narberth, Montgomery Co, PA on Dec. 27, 1950.
At the time of his death, he was widowed, his wife having died in 1900. He was 89 years old.
Burial in Old Cathedral Cemetery, Philadelphia, PA on Dec. 30, 1950.
