Daughter of Moses Cromeans and Emily Dobbs.

There was a letter to the editor in the local paper from Sept 15, 1981 of someone trying to trace their great great grandfather Moses Cromeans who lived here from 1850 to 1870. He was married to Emily Dobbs and his mother was Betsy Elliott. Their children were Almarinda, Elizabeth, William, Sally, John, James and Quintillion, Isaac, Edmond, Robert Leslie, Jordan, Joel Roy and Melissa. Moses and his wife were living in Amandaville in Cumberland County on the 1860 census. On the 1880 census Emily was living in Logan, IL. I wonder if Moses might be buried in Adair County. Their land was located on Crocus Creek east of Cabin branch.
