Shirley was my aunt, my father's older sister. She married Harold Tobey "Hal" Chick and together had six children, Gerald "Gerry", Donald "Donnie", Harold Randy, Glen, Linda May, and John who died at birth. They lived in Eliot, Maine on a nice little farm. For the most part Aunt Shirley was a stay at home mom, while Uncle Hal worked as an auto mechanic at different garages in the area. He also worked for the Kittery Highway Dept. They would eventually divorce, and while aunt Shirley never remarried, uncle Hal did.
